The Proprietors of St. Benedict School Complex are Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Rose Mary Weobong both of whom are professional educational graduates with a minimum of thirty eight (38) years teaching and administrative experience with the Ghana education service.
They have had teaching and supervisory experience at basic, secondary and tertiary institutions.
There could not have been any challenging decision for an Educationist to pursue after successfully and without blemish completing his/her career of giving education to humanity, than to continue to contribute to the development of education – his / her the noble profession.
The dream of establishing a private educational institute after our compulsory retirement from Ghana Education Service came to fruition on 15th October 2002 with forty pupils by the end of the first week.
The pupils were accommodated in a rented mud – house with eleven rooms earlier used as the District education office.
The meagre end – of – service gratuity was sacrificed for the take off.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Rosemary Weobong (Proprietors) backed up by their sons (Benedict Weobong, Donatus Weobong, Conrad Weobong and Godfrey Weobong) and their families envisaged the programme of the school to cater for crèche Nursery, kindergarten, primary and Junior High School levels.
