St. Benedict School adheres strictly to the prescribed Ghana Education Service research unit curriculum.
– TEACHING / LEARNING
Teaching is conducted in English. Pupils also learn French and Twi. Subjects thought include: English language, mathematics, integrated science, religious and moral education, environmental studies, citizenship education, physical education, creative arts, information communication technology, natural science, French and Ghanaian language.
Extra-curricular activities also include; games and athletics, soccer, cultural drumming and dancing, general knowledge and quizzes.
– MONITORING AND SUPERVISION: the school has in place a strong monitoring and supervision strategy for teaching staff. Weekly appraisal meetings are held, two-monthly in-service/on-the-job training is provided, observation of teachers in class is practiced and lesson note books are scrutinized and discussed.
